Both of the goals Quick allowed in the previous game came in the third period after he had given up just one third-period marker over the previous nine contests. The first goal Quick yielded came on a rebound from a point shot, though the 26-year-old would probably have liked to have the second one back, a stoppable shot from Adam Henrique from the left circle.

Dear Michael Rushton,
You lost me at “stoppable puck”. In the game I was watching, it rang off the post, the crossbar the far post. On what planet is that stoppable?
Then again, LA isn’t a hockey town so what do I know? #TiredOfTheBullshit
I would have liked to have seen the near post taken away completely. Quick was a touch late in getting over, but it was just about a perfect shot off the post, especially below the dots. It hit the net after, then the far post but never the crossbar. Stoppable, yes, but not a bad goal.
Brodeur would say those saves in Media eyes!
