Wayne Gretzky with Captain Frolov – Photo: Gretzky’s Facebook
By Paul Armbruster | KingsNewsDaily.com
The Calgary Sun reported that former Kings’ great Wayne Gretzky will join Brett Hull and Mark Messier in playing a memorial game to honor the lost Lokomotiv team. It will be the first time Gretzky will play hockey in Russia. As seen above, Wayne helps drop the puck to start the KHL season along with former Kings Alumni (and current Captain of the Avangard Omsk) Alexander Frolov.

how funny would it be if gretzky gave fro a pep talk…armbruster style…and he changes his whole thought process…
oh, wait…
Captain Fro! that is wonderful.. I know he is getting his confidence back and will have a great season.. Could not be happier for him. He will always be my guy.
GO KINGS GO!!!
WWTC!
That is funny the National Hockey League Official Guide & Record Book 2013
has Frolov listed as retireed. But then again, many argued he was retireed
when he played for the Kings.
