My new practice report feature will include video with commentary and photos of the day. Today’s practice saw no change in the lineup. Special teams (power play units) were on the ice early today at around 9:30am. Practice began at about 10 and ran for around 50 minutes total. As you’ll see below, it was an uptempo, pretty intense session overall.
Kings Legend Mattias Norstrom is in town working on a new 5-part documentary chronicling junior hockey here in Southern California. The series will focus on how a city like Los Angeles started with an NHL team and worked its way out into the community. Most traditional hockey cities progressed in the exact opposite way starting with local hockey until the city finally landed an NHL club. The documentary is a Swedish production so if you want to see it, subtitles will be necessary. That is unless you speak Swedish.
