When Sutter and general manager Dean Lombardi start looking toward next season, they’ll know most of that roster is already signed. The few free agents probably could be tied up if Los Angeles’ brass wants the same players to attempt a repeat — assuming the NHL and the players’ union resolve a potentially sticky labor dispute that could leave the Kings with plenty of extra time to take the Cup home to friends and family.
Next time lets hope everyone gets a chance to join in on the fun at Staples. I have been a fan and season seat holder at the Forum since 68. Since I have my two kids now, we buy single game seats since now I have a family to support and can not buy season seats at Staples. I can not even get close to L.A. Live without a ticket. I guess this really is L.A. and money talks. I still have my gold Forum Kings pennant on my wall and recordings of Roy Storey calling Kings games. I guess only the NEW KINGS FANS can celebrate with the team.
