Rich Clune fails to clear waivers, leaves Kings…

Rich Clune’s tenure with the Los Angeles Kings organization has come to an end. He was claimed off waivers today by the Nashville Predators. Known for his witty one-liners during Kings camp, Clune played a total of 14 games for the club during the 2009-10 season, including 4 playoff games. He failed to play another game since then. He spent the last 4 seasons with the Manchester Monarchs. He was originally selected in the 3rd round by the Dallas Stars in 2005.
