In what turned out to be a very light pregame skate at TSC this morning in El Segundo, it nevertheless gave an indication of two big changes to the lineup. Jonathan Bernier, who was first off the ice (see video below), appears to get the nod ahead of Jonathan Quick who had a rough outing against Vancouver on Saturday. Later, after most skaters left for the locker room, the three remaining players on the ice were Quick, Brad Richardson and… Davis Drewiske, giving a clear indication that Alec Martinez will make his way back into the lineup.
Today’s skate lasted for about 20 minutes for the main players, leaving the presumed scratches behind to do extra work. Not on the ice for this morning’s optional were Brown, Williams, Richards, Carter, Penner, Stoll, Doughty and Scuderi who are saving it for tonight.

KND Pregame Report Part 2 – Quick, Drewiske and Richardson

Crap, I hate to say it. Bernier plays great, Kings lose 2-0/2-1 (empty net).
God, I hope I’m wrong.
jb deserves it right now…still, it probably won’t change his status as the #2…
quick seems a bit jumpy out there, maybe over-thinking or pressing a bit…we better hope he gains back his form, because he is our goalie for the foreseeable future…and despite jb making this month interesting, he’s as good as gone before the start of next year…we don’t want a”nyuky” situation on our hands…(!)
Paul..Hoe you get back to me..this was latest KND I received..
Fun game(period 3) to watch last night..Love to see it when the guys respond to each others play and the crowd..Pens..:)
Practice or no tomorrow what do you think?
Yes, but it may be an optional. Yes, great game. Crowd really came alive in the 3rd. Really enjoyed it. Don’t know what you mean by your first sentence???
