Editor’s notes: Defenseman Bryan Rodney scored the first goal for the Monarchs. Rodney signed a one year contract with the club but is not a Kings prospect. Bishop is also not a Kings prospect, playing on a tryout agreement. The Monarchs still remain in 11th place overall with 58 points as the teams ahead also won over the weekend.
